MYDL.me is a great site that just started up. It’s done by the great Scott Bourne. The site is all about managing your digital life, basically all about backing up your data in this digital age. Nothing worries me more about my data than losing it all over something that I didn’t cause. I back up all my stuff to 500gb firewire drive but if that happens to fail on me at the same time as my Macbook hard drive, I’m screwed. When I recently updated to a 500gb hard dive in the Macbook I sent the old hard drive over to my parents house just so that I would at least have a some what current backup at an off site location.
This site is full of great tips for keeping your data, for me my photographs, backed up and up to date.
