Went to the Dallas International Motorcycle Show today. Didn’t seem to be as much there this time as compared to last year. To many sport bikes and most of the cruisers all look the same these days. Their were a few custom bikes and some old restored bikes. Rick Fairless from Strokers had a few bikes, guess I should have taken a few pics of his stuff but as I don’t live to far from his shop, I’ve seen his bikes plenty of times. SuckerPunch Sallys was there too in the Progressive Ins booth. There was also a booth with some old BMW, Nortons and BSA’s and a good looking girl sitting at a table. She looked familiar and we exchanged Hi’s but I couldn’t remember where I have seen her from. Then later it dawned on me it was Jacqui Van Ham. I follow her blog about her travels all around the motorcycle world on her old BMW. I went back over there to say hi again and talk a little and maybe get a picture with her but she was already talking to a group of people. She’s pretty hot too, I need a girl who loves motorcycle and has tattoos like her! ;)

I love the old BSA’s.

I dig this twisted wrought iron look. I want to do a tall sissy bar like this on my ride.

When I get around to putting a tractor seat on my bike, I’m covering it in this kind of leather.

After the show, went out to the parking lot and looked around.
Wish Honda still made the Rune.

And since I was in downtown Dallas, swung by the Dealey Plaza to take a few pics as I dove past where Kennedy was shot.

Sixth floor on the street side is where Oswald was.

The X in the middle lane is where Kennedy was shot.

The grassy knoll where another shooter might have been and also Zapruder was standing just out of the frame to the right.

And if you want to see a couple of more shots from the show, please visit my Flickr site.
